Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts artist competing for her country in UFC for the Flyweight Division. She's now fighting. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina Shevchenko defeated Nievera thanks to her impressive striking ability during the clinch, using her knees against her body. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed following the win. Antonina was offered a UFC contract after winning. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight, after winning her first fight via unanimous decision. Antonina came back from losing by defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler with a back-naked choke. She was awarded the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner during her subsequent three bouts, winning against Ariane Lipski before falling to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
